Moment of Release

I've been trying to read you all night. See into your mind, find out if you felt what I do. The look in your eyes gave me clues. Your giggling at my stupid jokes and the way you always smiled when I smiled were hints. Your body slowly got closer to mine and it felt as though an energy flowed between us. I ached with the desire to reach out and touch you without being too forward. Yet you stare deeper into my eyes and smile, and my face creeps closer to yours. The energy begins to build as my heart races. The night has been leading up to this one single moment were all tension between us is discharged by a single occurance of an age old form of affection.
